Dirty sticky smelly mare!!

Toff seems to be permanently in season at the moment, which is ok behaviour wise and she is being a good girl, but she is very very messy on her back legs

She seems to have permanent sticky stuff on them and she stinks, I try and was them every weekend but it's not nice now it's colder and I'm guessing it can't be that good for her??
Any ideas on anything I could put on her legs so help repel the "stuff"?!
She makes her rugs pong as well. Dirty mare!!

The discharge shouldn't smell maybe an idea to get her checked by the vet in case she's got an infection

Agree Memo - shouldn't be permanent and shouldn't be offensively stinky. She may very well have a water or womb infection. El Veto!

Hannah is exactly the same when she is in season... she gets white sticky/crusty wee all down the back of her legs and it smells really strong of wee

She has stopped coming in season though now, thank goodness, but we have it all summer

Thanks all for replies. It just smells of strong wee, should it not smell at all?
She does come into season fairly often and after scans found that she had many more folicles on each ovary than is the norm so each season is exagerated.

seren has been the same but its mostly gone now, she seems to have been in season for most of this year though!
