anyone any suggestions as to what else i can try

Best shampoo I have ever used on my rather filthy coloured is QuikSilver. Give it a good scrub in with warm water and leave for 5 mins then rinse well.

After you have done that use some of the show white powder on a brush and leave to dry. Give it a good brush when dry and Hey Presto - white legs/knees/hocks/side of the bum etc etc.

I do this on a regular basis (every 2 weeks) for dressage so am used to it.

ive got a grey whose a nightmare, i get a bar of fairy extra soft soap i lather loads up on a sponge and shes comes up lovely x

what i found heled with one of our show coloured is when the hock is wet and shampooed, rub a block of chalk on it and then the chalk dries and it looks white!
do this on the day of the show or do it twice, night and morning:)

lol, but then when we loaded she would always come out with a blue oil smuthered on her quarters from where she was rubbing on the lorry, locked everywhere for the cause but couldnf find anything, she was a right old gal lmao!!

My friend always used dreft on her coloured.I havent tried it on mine but she says everyone commented on her white legs when she tried it.

My mare pood in the trailer and manage to get it up under her rug right up her leg!! The big dirty beast... had to run round show ground looking for someone to lend me shampoo!! id forgotten mine duh. it is amazing what you can do with chalk though lol when we did our individual show it wasl like we were on a cloud there was so much dust lol
