Hi is there any other BE riders out there competing with a disability. I have completed my 1st 3 BE 90's, with one eye, I got kicked in the head 18mths ago and lost my right eye. Competing is possible but difficult as I have no depth perception and no sight to my right, this can make collecting rings difficult and jumping steps & drops, in fact jumping is quite difficult, dressage is also more difficult as you cannot see the markers on the left rein. I put alot of effort in on training which is costly and it would be nice to have some recognition from other bodies than BD. anyone else out there competing it would be nice to hear from you.
