please read then email or ring Thurrock Council [google it] and complain please. this young man who lost 3 limbs in Afghanistan deserves a decent home,not a tiny flat 6 floors up. The council is a disgrace.

Agreed and judging by the comments / anger on their forum the council will be alerted and get their finger out.

I cannot imagine the horror of being 20years old with just one arm

Hi treatment is terrible... why not put him in a nice home anywhere??

The massive problem in this country is single adults with no dependants living in social housing that is say 3 or 4 bed.
Its creating a terrible problem further down the line.

Everyone is so quick to point at the asylum seekers (the daily mail in particular) But i think we have to accept its people that have lived in their homes for many many years, that will not down grade.

Oh and people who can afford their own homes (on the 100k plus salary) for example the head of the railway union - why is he in a council flat? Although legally hes well within his right to live there, it does seem wrong too.
