Don't quite know what to do.In short I have a nice kind sensible little cob which is now getting quite nicely schooled coutesy of my v.good instructor.A member of the staff who isvery young, novice and nervous likes riding him. There is not many horses in our yard that she can ride (and she is suposed to as part of the job) so I let her ride the newbie.I even let her do a small competition on the yard, where he did very well for her and go on a small fun ride.I ride him in a jointed snaffle and caveson nose band.No trouble but Lily we will call her says he gets strong hacking out in company so I bought a cheap second bridle, a flash noseband and dutch gag strictly for these occasions. She has not respected that and she was riding in the school in it.I removed it.Today she wanted to ride him for an assessment she was doing. He was a good boy for her but she kept on complaining about how strong he is.She keeps her leg on him and then hangs onto the reins and his mouth.I went to untack him and discovered the caveson on so tight that it practically split his face in half. When I complained she said that having it loose did nothing, he was very strong and needed a flash. She is convinced she knows everything and I am fed up.I know she likes riding him and he gives her a lot of confidence so I have tried to be tolerant but today is the last straw. Will have tocall a halt I think.Sad.
