Disappointing day at BEF

Just thought I'd tell you about my crappy day! Took my skewbald colt foal to the BEF Futurity Evaluations today and then had to withdraw as he wasn't right behind. The vet saw him at the vet assessment and didn't spot anything but the evaluators said they were not happy that he was totally sound. The vet then looked at him a second time and said the same as the first time! Iam so disappointed! They said I could take him back in if I wanted but I didn't see much point. If they were not happy with him he would have just got a crappy score and premium. What a waste of time and effort!

so were the evaluators saying the vet was wrong and the vet saying the evaluators were wrong!! what a sham!! How awful for you, either a horse is lame or not and if a vet says the horse isnt lame and is right, he shouldnt be there or maybe even a vet imho,!!! I had a very posssitive experience with the futurity, maybe you should try next year??? Put this post in breeding you may get more response!!
