My thoughts too. Delete her, don't bother responding and also block her. This means she can't send you any more messages.

I had a similar venomous message on facebook after something which I had no control over and that's exactly what I did. Made me feel much better knowing I don't have to deal with such low-lifes!

Sorry, but if she got sacked that's not the worst thing - she was handling a horse she knew she wasn't supposed to. What if you'd been kicked in the head?

And as for the sister, would be tempted to reply "before you email me, please learn to in English"...or just reply "WOTEVAAAAAA"

The beauty of Facebook is being able to block muppets. Do that and put this behind you. It is for your YO to sort out with her if she decides to reconsider her position. Not for you to be bullied. You could have been killed!
