I need to start saving money! So i need more tips like...

Vaseline for hoofs
Avon Skin So Soft for fly spray etc! Because most things for horses are really expensive! So fire me all that you know!! :D Thankyou!

buy large pallets of wood pellets for bedding, buy hay in big rolls i used to buy 11 bales every 2 weeks which cost me £44, now i buy large round bale £35 it lasts me over 2 months if not 3 i bought it in april and still have over a months worth left! and thats for two horses, buy basics like sudocrem, hibiscrub, aloe vera gel ect for any wounds. Buy anything horsey off ebay i live on there!.

you could use rubber matting but i like my horses on big comfy beds,
electric fencing instead of post and rail. ermmmm....
feed more veg and fruit then actual feed depending on what your horse does age weight ect..

Cant think of anything else just yet but i am trying to do the same.:)

Really cheap supermarket shampoo and conditioner instead of horse stuff.

Old tights instead of tail bags (to keep clean)

Hairbrush/comb from poundshop instead of £10 for horsey equivalent

I'll have a think.....I hardly buy any genuine horsey stuff as it's usually overpriced and I'm far too tight :D

Value range furniture polish for mane & tail de tangler.
Places like b&m, pound shops etc for first aid basics like bandages, sudo cream etc.
Asdas value all purpose cleaner for spring cleaning stables, scrubbing buckets etc.
Loads of cheap shops sell buckets, & cheap cooking spoons for mixing feeds. And you sometimes get brooms & shovels in them too.
Cheap shampoo & conditioner & cheap washing powder for white.
Feed bins from wilko.
Ask local greengrocers if you can buy the damaged stuff they chuck out, until it closed recently I used to get a box a week of root veg, apples pears & bananas for free as I bought some stuff there too.
Reflectives from halfords or Tesco.
Basically anything you need, try & think what else its used for except horses & where the cheapest place is you'd buy it if you wanted it for its intended purpose.

Agricultural suppliers like CWG are often cheaper than horse specific places for bedding and feed etc. They often have first aid supplies too.

Aldi and Lidl are great for things like brooms, buckets, reflectives, warm fleeces, gloves etc. They even have horse stuff from time to time.

Other than jodhs boots and hat, don't wear equestrian brands, often it is cheaper/better quality from outdoor/sports shops etc.
