OK so we've just picked up our little rescue girl today. Name of Sally! Bless her she is such a dear little thing and is trying sooo hard to please!
But there is one little habit which we've noticed, which is less than desirable!!
She's a chewer! Not all the time, which is good, BUT she'd picked up a cushion when I wasn't watching her and had just started biting into it...........
Gaaarrrgghhh!!!
We've had a rescue dog before, just lost her in fact at the end of January, but chewing wasn't one of the issues that we had to deal with, with her. So we're not quite sure of the best way to tackle this.
Tonight, to settle both our dogs, rescue and resident, they've both had a chew made out of deer's antler. Totally successful, as it settled them both down and they're now asleep!
But am worried for overnight, as if she should wake and get restless and start chewing something................
Any suggestions???
The DAP diffuser is on, and there's Rescue Remedy in their drinking water.
