There's a lady on FB doing a special offer on photo editing, I got one done off her last night and it is beautiful. Basically, you email her a picture of your horse or pet, she blacks out the background, enhances the photo and emails it back to you to print off. i think they're nicely done, but I have to say some of them look a bit weird on a black background, like bits of ears & tack missing. It's pretty expensive too I think!

Im surprised people pay for this too. With a decent photoshop anyone can do that themselves surely???

But for your average Jo like myself who doesn't have or know how to use photo shop it's perfect. I Couldn't be more pleased with the picture she did for me and it's printed off lovely. I was more than happy to pay the £10, I'd been quoted a lot more to have the same done elsewhere.

As a photographer that specialises in producing dark portraits this service actually slightly amuses me! Yes anyone with Photoshop or similar programs can black out a background doesn't though mean the photograph in question suits such editing!

I would show you some of mine to illustrate the difference but that would be deemed advertising but needless to say to do a convincing and technically good job to make it good enough to stick on your wall takes more than a few minutes and more than £10 worth of my time. But then I wouldn't edit another photographer's photo either as it would be breaking copyright!
