I'm 5ft1 and my problem with bigger horses are that their 'buttons' are in the wrong places for my legs
I agree! I'm 5'3/4 and my 15.2 was perfect for me. He was easy to hold together and felt the right size! My 16.2 is great and i would never swap him but he's lazy and one thing ive found is if i take my feet out of my stirrups and stretch down he's far more responsive- he used to be ridden my a dressage giant so i guess thats what he's used too?!
