I have started my lad on a supplement to help his respiratory system a bit with the awful hay that seems to be about this year. Now he does not seem to be terribly keen on it because of the garlic in it (I presume).
I am getting it down him but it is a struggle and he is not up to full dose yet! He is just about eating 2 scoops but he needs another yet!
I thought I might try splitting it into 2 feeds and putting more chaff in it to 'water' it down...but does anyone have other ideas as to how to get it down him easier as he does need to have it really.
He only has it in some hi fi lite as he is a good doer and cannot have mixes and things because of his weight.

You can try spearmint or molasses, I have in the past had success with crushed XXX mints

and apple juice, too.

You can buy a 1kg tub of crushed, dried spearmint from Robinsons mail order, I think its about £2.50.

I put it in my lad's tea as he is on a joint supplement made from green lipped mussels and he hates the fishy taste and leaves it. However, with a handful of spearmint in, he gobbles the lot!!
