Today, as a treat I took my 2 children down to the 'pebble beach'. We love exploring the rock pools and really look forward to our trips there. I pay £5 to the national heritage to enable us to use the car park and new loos. I take a picnic and that's all fine with me.
So, within moments of finishing our lunch, and on-route to the loos, I trod in dog poo. It is truely foul. Glad it wasn't the children mind. I can perfectly accept dogs, and when they go, they go, but seriously, on the 'main path' to the brand new loos is totally unacceptable. If with dog, take bag (s). I did my best to wipe it off on grass, but did end up with a 'foot print' of the stuff on the floor of the loo block, which can't be pleasent for anyone else. And heaven help those with bare feet!
After that, I saw (and avoided) another pile, again right where people go, elderly included not to mention where little tots walk, run skip and play. Great. Dodge-Pile, as apposed to dodge-ball anyone!??
I managed to clean it off after washing in the sea, but that's not really what I should have had to do.

Please pick it up!

as much as I understand your annoyance, I do think your shouting at the wrong group of people! how about contacting the natural heritage to see if they can increase awareness around that area! maybe mow the grass a bit so it can be seen more easily etc etc, bins with bags attached so people have no excuse!

What annoys me the most is they will ban innocent dog owners unless you do the above.

I dont understand your attitude though to other posters as they wont be responsible and I doubt anyone of us leaves home without a poobag.

I pick it up, and have picked others up as well when it has been in public areas like beaches. As you've already had pointed out Coolmix, you are ranting in the wrong place.

LOL..........I seem to go everywhere with poo bags, shopping or even off to work - they seem to appear in every pocket!!!

What about when you're bent over, arse-crack hanging out your jeans, picking up poop in the rain.....and your ex walks past with his family.......

Maybe - couldn't give a rats ass, BUT I was cross at the time, there is no need for it to have happened!

I so agree. This one time, some total moron in an Audi cut me up on a roundabout, so the next time I saw somebody in an Audi I gave him a piece of my mind! He actually was a very careful and considerate driver, but I didn't give a rat's ass 'cause I was angry!

Odd, was this a random rant or a , message for the "dog forum members"?cos I could not give a rats ass either, I pick my dog crap up, what others do is their ignorance.
I hate kids chucking rubbish about and wailing like bancheeees, but I dont go on mums net and say "shut your kids up"
I have seen a few kids drop their kegs and crap all over too, I never seen the parents scraping it up. (scruffy gitz)

Folk not picking dog turd up is disgusting.........it needs to be aimed at them, or as suggested the nature reserve.

I do.
I forgot my bags last night and rooted around in a bin til I found a crisp packet to use.
Although I am in the minority around here, either locals or day-trippers.
Hope that helps :)

Please be careful when going through a bin you never no what you might accidently catch your self on.

I have to admit to kicking poo to the nearest drain and squashing it in the grill (can do this with raw poos)

Midwife ;) I have lots of bits and pieces in my car lol mainly bags a few gloves and stethoscopes. No drugs nothing of any value lol.

Mmm..friend of mine was also a midwife in Portsmouth, why they need the placenta to view back at the hospital is beyond me..but my friend lost one on a bus..:D

As above.
If you need to go shouting at dog owners mumsnet is the place to go. Having seen the state of their dog threads they are clueless as per their kids threads lol!

Me too, if I wear a coat I haven't worn in a while there's usually a roll of them in there, I have them everywhere, I get the co-op 4 pack so just take a roll of them where ever I go and they smell nice until the poop goes in lol

Ive got a draw full, every time I go in a shop and see a roll I buy it, dont know why, there is only one of her, the amount of bags Ive got there should be a large pack of dogs lol
The last pack I only brought because they have hearts on them! red bag black hearts. The pack befor were black with green writing on them and the ones before that were electric blue! to be fair Mum brought them because they were on holiday and I was going home and they had run out so I gave them my spare roll from the car and mum felt the need to replace them

Geez your attitude stinks almost as must as the **** you trod in.

Thanks. I over reacted on that one admittingly (sp), my bad.

Glad to know that all us 'normal dog folk' on here, are never without the poo bags. I guess I will have to find an 'abnormal' forum to preach the message across to those who allow their pooches to poo without bags!

Still, dog crap is the worst thing to tread in!
