The Lion, King of the Jungle, one the most beautiful animals alive has been reduced to some sharade. He has been declawed and had his teeth taken away and now is deprived of his status and is living a hell on earth.

Seen this before, but we have done this and similar in the UK. In shakespeare's day it was 'sport' to have a monkey a horse and a few pitbulls in the ring, the monkey 'rides' the horse to escape the dogs and the dogs rip apart the horse until they have got to the monkey.
Obviously we have come a long way since then (well most of us have in the UK still some reprobates around) and sadly things like this will happen until the chinese or the international community do something about it.
China has big problems with human rights issues so I doubt animal welfare is a big priority for many chinise activists
