I need to disinfect my stable. The reason being pinworms :( I'm just getting on top of them after a long battle . Does anyone have any suggestions for stable disinfectants and more specifically ones that will cover pinworms? Thanks :).

we use jeyes fluid
we hire a large industrial steam pressure washer for the weekend which disinfectant can be added does the job brilliantly
but not had a problem with pinworm though

If I'm washing the stable out I use jeyes fluid, otherwise if Iwant to keep it dry I use carbolic powder by Lincoln. Not sure on the pinworm situation though, sorry

Cleanliness is the most important thing, get all muck out of corners etc, I think Jeyes is the best, it kills everything. Obviously throw out all bedding, and wash all rugs, buckets, anything at all. Bleach is easier to use on a day to day basis, and I would stick to a strict regime for several weeks after your stable has been cleaned out. Wash grooming brushes after every use.
Make sure he does not access bits of dirty grazing, like tufts of grass growing out of corners of buildings.
