Hey, i dont know where to put this really as its not exactly equestrian.
10 years ago i had a bad fall and dislocated my shoulder. Doctors said i would need it pinning as the socket is ruined and it would continue to dislocate.
However, being a first class baby, i refused. Over the years my shoulder has dislocated doing a variety of things varying from falling over to opening the curtains. I have grown used to limited mobility in this arm, never really being able to move it above shoulder height.
However, i fell off my horse in October and i think i overcopensated worrying about landing on my shoulder so i fell on my backside and broke my coccyx (dohh!!)
Has anyone had any experiences similar to this, or any recommendations besides "get a grip and have it pinned!!"
I am the ultimate wuss and the thought of any sort or surgery makes me faint i cant even go to the dentist without fainting
