Disposing of unwanted tack

I have tried advertising on certain sites and tack rooms and no takers. Is it worth sending stuff to Auction these days, or do the costs outweigh the selling price ? Never any equestrian boot sales near me.

If you can't sell online an auction isn't likely to increase your options. And you may pay fees whether you sell or not - sites vary, read the T&Cs. How about donating to a local charity? Hopefully they will be able to use stuff - but even if they can't and opt to sell for their profits at least it is out of your hair!

Bring it over here, the 'take what you likies' will relieve you of it. Sorry, feeling peed off at the moment, had my feed room door smashed yesterday and all my headcollars nicked -again.

Try a table top tack sale or equestrian car boot in my experience you can shift all sorts of random tat at them. Anything left over donate.
