Dissertation questionnaire - please help!

Oh dear. Sorry OP, got to the second question asking about hours per day workload, turnout etc, rest day, and just couldn't complete any more! There is no "typical" day on which I ride, rest, turnout, or whatever: it depends on what I am doing (i.e. working or not, am self employed so not a typical working week), also stuff like if its a nice day I'll do sommat, if not I'll rest them.

So sorry, just felt bogged down: and my answers would not have been accurate in any case if I had guessed.

I tried but my answers wouldn't have been accurate as there are no set days for things with my horse. She's young so is just beggining to hack out etc but there are no set days or hours for that. Sorry OP

Gave up as soon as this came up early on. Far too prescriptive, maybe you work your horse according to a strict daily rota, but I definitely don't, and probably many other folk don't either.

Couldn't be bothered to proceed to see if the survey got any better (and I normally wade through student surveys).

Thank you for everyone's responses. I'm afraid the questions need to be so accurate to answer my specific research question. The questions are for one's 'typical' week or day. My own horses routines change daily and weekly as well! But it's just an overview of a typical/average week assuming fair weather etc etc.

Thanks for everyone's help and attempts so far!

When I ran the yard for a living, I might have been able to complete this, but like others I do not have any set work routines such as the ones set down. Also, in the chart copied above, there is no mention of competition, most with set work schedules are also out competinget regularly too, usually weekends.
Sorry OP, I can't complete this either. Perhaps try to target pro yards on other media platforms?

Couldn't complete as dont own a horse (but do take care of 8 daily) Suggest you state in OP its only for horse owners.

Done but when it asked me how long I owned horses, I put 25 years which isn't strictly accurate as I had one on loan for 16 years before I got current horse. However, I have worked with them for more than 35 years.

I also tend to feed by "eye" as my horse gets ad lib forage, which he very rarely finishes, and the bare minimum of bucket feed so sometimes just a small handful so he thinks he's had something. I do not, therefore, weigh either forage or feed and just keep an eye to make sure he doesn't get too fat! If he starts to drop too much weight (which is very rare and usually only in a very hard winter) then he gets extra feed. I am sure that weighing is necessary for many people, depending on their horse's needs or whether they have a condition such as laminitis, but I am blessed with a "good doer" who seems to self regulate quite well - he occasionally gets a bit podgy at which point I up his workload but doesn't seem to gorge at any time. :)

Could not complete. Ridden horse doesn't compete and no mention of driving although driven pony does compete.

Also, no such thing as a typical day
