TW: Euthanasia

I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation and currently conducting a survey as part of my dissertation.
This survey is being conducted to give an insight to an owner’s opinion and when the time is right to euthanise. The questionnaire consists of 18 questions to help understand when an owner chooses to euthanise which will allow professionals to prepare and support for such events.
Participants must currently be involved with the equine industry and/or own or owned a horse, aged 18 years and over and living in the United Kingdom.
All responses will be kept anonymous.

Done but difficult to answer I've owned many horses and some have been PTS whilst in my ownership each reason was different one was from old age others from illness, also the question about what age is considered old,it depends on the animal and it's breeding some aren't really old until in their late 20s ,others showed that they were getting on in their teens,not the best questions.

Tried to complete, but question 10 is tricky to answer when you own multiple horses. Some see the vet a lot more than others. Likewise for question 12. I have had 2 pts due to age, 1 due to illness. This then means it's not possible to answer question 13. For question 14, 'age related' in my opinion means they have conditions related to old age, not that at a certain age they become ready to be pts. Sorry, I am trying to give you useful feedback, but I couldn't actually complete this survey.
