Dissertation to document prevalence of disordered eating patterns in leisure riders

Interesting,
I would say I've never eaten so much rubbish in my life than I now do I have two ponies to see to!
It's worse when competing in the summer, I just live on lucozade, chips and whatever else happens to be in the car or in sale, lol ::)
Was confused by all the eating disorder based questions, never occurred to me that it could be a problem outwith professional racing.

Done - also an unafilliated hacker :)

Good luck OP, its difficult getting the balance of questions right for this sort of thing. As a follow up it would be really interesting to find out as others have said if the hours you keep with horses corrolate with eating habits. Personally my usual day involves a cup of tea at 6:30amish to start the day, stables, work, eat food about 9.30amish, lunch around 12.30pm, stables, tea around 9pm.

I last ate proper food at 11am this morning and won't eat again until about 9pm tonight...just the way my day has worked out, definately not intentional! Bring on the takeaways!!

Done. Another who agrees with both feeling uncomfortable having previously suffered from an ED and who origninally thought this post was about eating patterns not disorders.

Now eating patterns, I am good during a working day but at weekends when I ride I will not have breakfast and go all day without food (esp when hunting) and then come home at 4ish and binge on a whole huge pizza and large packet of kettle chips then have a proper dinner!!

I have eating problems, and got part way through filling it in and found I couldn't carry on because I found it really difficult mentally to do, especially because in my case it'd be easier to just try and explain the situation rather than tick boxes which like conformed to a 'stereotype' of a condition kind of thing. Good luck with your dissertation though OP :)
