What's the longest time you would travel for to see a horse? I often see posts by others saying that they will only travel a limited time to see a horse.
Where I am you have to accept at least three hours driving each way to see a decent animal and I would go further if I had too.
I am going for a second look at a mare I like on tuesday who is around three hours away, so all in I will have spent 12 hours just to view one horse.

That would depend on the situation and transport I guess. I got my horse from someone 20 minutes away, but really couldnt of gone very far anyway as dont have own horsebox and was relying on a favour from my instructor.
