Im looking to do a distance learning equine degree. Ideally Id like to be able to do this at my own pace. As i work part time i can complete the degree quicker than the 6 years that most unis state it takes to do distance learning degree, but they dont let you do it faster, which is very annoying!

any ideas where i can find a courses like this?

I'm following the lingfield course, not a degree, so I suppose it depends why you want the degree as to whether this may be of interest to you. They give you a diploma on successful completion and allegedly cover enough theory to cover stages 1 & 2 of the BHS exams. It's about 1yr of work if you do all the research properly.

I'm doing a course through The Open College Of Equine Studies......They used to offer degree courses, I'm not sure if they do at the moment but they offer lots of courses and I'm sure if you contacted them they could give you help. They course is really good and I love doing mine.

It does need to be a undergrad degree course as i want to progress to equine physio through Harper Adams which needs a min 2:1 degree, or go onto lecturing at a college.

I tried Warks but they make you do the course over 6 years and dont let you do it faster.

Are you sure? I was going to do my last year distance and the time scale is no different? I dont see why it takes 6 years its easy! You could keep up with the work in your own time to get it done in 3 as long as you are organised
