Anyone had problems with their horse disuniting in canter?
My mare has been struggling with her canter for quite a while, she always strikes off fine but then changes lead behind! Only on the right rein! Had all the usual checked, saddle, teeth, back ect, done loads of uphill work to build her muscles & done loads of Pessoa work as told it could be a balancing issue! She only used to do it on the lunge but now does it ridden!
She now has other symptoms such has lack of impulsion from behind, saddle slipping to the right (like she's shifting the weight), irritable to saddle her!
Vets seem at a loss so she's off the Newmarket soon for investigations!
Anyone have had similar symptoms and what was the outcome? I'm thinking possible sacroiliac problems/kissing
