First competition of the season on Friday so I thought I had better pop in the school and do a final run through as I won't get chance now.
Not sure if I've introduced the Diva properly to you all but if you read our Your Horse blog you might know a bit about her.
Anyway, she's just turned 9, got her as a 6 year old who had just hacked out so she only did straight lines (badly). Bought her as a hacking pony/project while the hooligan was out of action, but she has become my little dressage cob. She's absolutely hilarious, not at all mareish and buying her was hands down the best thing I have ever done in my life. We have struggled with PSSM, but we are definitely having a breakthrough where that is concerned now and she is working better than ever.
My good friend filmed me last night so I could watch the test and see where I need to make adjustments. I was absolutely horrified to see I was dropping the contact left, right and centre and any negative aspects in the divas way of going were completely my fault so I was totally annoyed with myself if I'm honest. I have no idea where this habit has crept in from but I will be working on sorting it out straight away!

She is a chronic sight-seeer when we are out, so my aim for Friday is to simply produce a pleasant test, with minimal shrieking from her and minimal contact dropping from me!
