Well after the first day I was trying to keep my wobbling chin up and so we decided to lunge then get on and I would lead OH out on the lead reain!!!!!
So she only had 1ml of sedalin and was a little easier to get going on the lunge, once she was armed up I legged OH up and we set off round the fields.
He wasn't that impressed especially as I kept telling him to put his heels down
So there was me, OH on Diva and Casper our dog walking up and down and round and round! We looked ridiculous but it was very funny.
There were other horses on both sides who kept galloping round but she was more interested in me and the treats and didn't bat an eyelid.
She was fantastic so I suggested we try a trot, OH said what are you actually going to run beside me and I said of course! So in true PC style i lolloped along beside him and she went straight into a lovely balanced trot, no half-steps, no swishy tail, no grumpiness or handbrake on, just her lovely balanced floaty trot.
So by now I was sweating buckets (all this exercise is really helping the slimfast diet
) So OH said try lunging me on a really big circle on the gentle slope which we did and she was amazing
She just looked really balanced and comfortable and back to her usual self.
Then we took her off the lead rein and he had a trot round the big field towards home and waited for me by the gate. She kept looking behind her as if to say hurry up mum were waiting!
I feel so relieved and much more positive.
