DIY Arena Construction Hampshire

Hi,

We are looking at constructing a 30x60 arena this summer. I am looking into local suppliers for the materials we will need (we are in Southampton Hampshire), and was wondering if anyone could give any good recommendations for suppliers in the area, we will be looking at all the drainage materials & aggregate, limestone sub base, and silica sand. If anyone could help that would be very much appreciated.

Also, if you have put in your own arenas, have you used an alternative to the limestone & how have you found it to be?

Without wishing to cause offence I have seen so many home made arenas which have turned in to a disaster.
Arenas need to be built by those with experience in building them as there are so many variables to be considered and to build them experience is required.
My advice would be to get a professional company in to design and build it for you as in the long run it will save you a lot of money, heartache and aggravation.
