Anybody got any ideas? Want to practice as may 'weird' fences as possible for ODE with baby horse at weekend.
Only have a few usual show jumps, wings and blocks.
So our of the show jumps I can make a corner and a skinny (have 2 short poles). Ditch-wise I am thinking of putting 2 big logs (or flat wood upright) either side of a folded up piece of tarpolin (so looks like water inside). Can then also put a fence either side so its like a little coffin. Mini-trakhener wise I was thinking of tarpolin simply laid flat between the wings with a single pole above. And I could change it from tarpolin by lying brightly coloured rugs etc. under it instead.
Anything else I can make? The ODE isnt big, only a little (unaff) novice class for him. Done quite a bit of training but still would rather be over-prepared than under, plus I thought it would be good to do some spooky things this week so he's in the right mind for the wkend! Only thing he's really had any issues is, has been with a very small trakhener (which I never got him over in the end, however I doubt a little novice would have one anyway) and he is still a bit wary of water and drops but definately getting the idea. Sadly cant recreate those at home!
