DIY Livery Bristol + Indoor School?

Hey everyone

I am desperately desperate for an indoor school. The spectre of winter, freezing rain and frozen school surfaces is just too much! Are there any indoors near Bristol? I'd travel up to 45 mins for the right yard.

Hinton is out due to no winter turnout. The Meadows I think is full. Any others that aren't light years away?

Clevedon... is that Kenn Pier?

Billow Farm will be a push I think, but if it's the only place I'll take it lol. Looks like very good facilities and I've commuted further before :/

Can't stand not having facilities any more, it's driving me bonkers :(
 
There used to be a place with an indoor in Weston in Bath, up behind the houses near Landsdown lane and only a few mins down the hill from where Pointings is - At one time it was Montpellier then Bath Equestrian Centre I think - not sure if its still there but it sounds like its your side of Bristol, It can only be 20 mins or so from Hinton which you mention

I think I would sacrifice the indoor for the facilities at Leyland Court though - they have three allweather floodlit outdoors :)
 
Not sure if junction 15 M4 is too far (I do appreciate this is not Bristol) but Filo horses are just finishing constructing their indoor which will be in for the winter. Other facilities are heated tackrooms, toilet with a radiator, heated rug room, heated kitchen.......... ;-)
 
Filo Horses looks amazing. It's an hour away though which is a little far :( Though I have done it before so I guess its do-able.

Does Top Line do DIY? I thought it was just full livery from the website.

I think Kenn Pier's probably not for me :p

I'll try and find the Bath one, though it would involve the dreaded Bath Road, I imagine, lol :eek:

Leyland Court have rubbish winter turnout from what I hear? Not ideal with that and the lack of indoor. I love indoors - can you tell? :p
 
Postcode for the Bath one is BA1 4HL - could be flattened and made in to modern houses by now of course!

I don't know where you live but its an easy drive from places like Longwell Green, Bitton, Hinton and Wick - best approached from Bath racecourse area rather than the main roads in from Bristol
 
Hmm, I see an outdoor and a big barn like building which could be an indoor on the other side of the road on google maps. And it's only half an hour away. Worth a look on the weekend, thanks :).
