Hi, currently have my horse in mixed herd, diy, with school and good off road hacking near Claygate but I moved to Worplesdon and would love to find something similar closer to home. Happy to join wait list for the right home. Any names, suggestions welcome as I don’t know this area for yards.

You could try Bridley Manor, on Berry Lane. Unsure if they have diy now.
Berrylands is on the Aldershot Rd just on the edge of Pirbright but im not sure if Sarah does DIY, they have good hacking.
Hoebridge in Woking on Old Woking Rd do diy and part, hacking is 1 bridleway by golf course, but decent arena, adequate turnout.
Victoria Farm at Brookwood has direct access to hacking but im not sure they do diy any more.
You could try Littlefield, its round the corner from Merrist Wood.
Glendell are in Pirbright but only do full grass livery.

Worth plugging through the various Facebook equestrian pages for Surrey, and to stalk the ones I've mentioned.

Good luck.

Brilliant! Thanks so much. Tried to get thru to Bridley today, found it on Livery List. Looked at a couple in Pirbright but full livery only, which seems to be the way, along with individual turnout. Will keep going and report back.

You could try Bonnishot farm in Worplesdon. Hacking is over whitmoor common, so not the most exciting, but there’s not great hacking around worplesdon in general.

The best local hacking is around ash ranges- so look at places around Pirbright and Ash.

Rails Farm in Pirbright does DIY. There's a school and off road hacking from the yard. The access is a bit rough as it's an unmade road and it's quite long. They can live out - I think - if you want them to. There are other yards around the end of Mill Lane but I don't know it they're DIY.

Thanks for this. I did drive down there last week. Definately a long dark bumpy road. Yard looks good but no one to talk to and the horses were all in individual turn out.

Yes. I think it is individual. I know someone on livery there and she drives down the track in the centre of the woods, which is better. There are two other yards on the other side of the woods. If you get to the end of Mill Lane and take one of the right hand tracks. Not Vines Farm as that's a retirement yard.
