personally i would go for yard 1, I'm actually shy in real life lol and would hate to have all the hustle and bustle of a busy RS going on around me all the time, i wouldn't like to think of there being a constant stream of strangers around either
plus as already raised i would be concerned at how available the facilities will be , indoor school sounds great but lessons will obviously take priority so you may end using the outdoor all the time anyway.
Is there someone you already know who could do turnout on yard 1 for you if you needed? even if you have to pay extra it will still work out cheaper than yard 2 .

I would say yard 2 if I hadn't been on DIY at a riding school before. Might not be a problem for you, but the one I was at always had lessons going on and you could never really use the schools, especially at weekends, it was soo annoying and the most frustrating thing!!
