DIY Livery Haverhill/Newmarket Area

Does anyone know of a good DIY yard with preferably an indoor school which takes DIY liveries, anywhere around thurlow, kedington would be fantastic but quite happy to travel a bit further, thanks

none in that area have indoors i'm afraid, there is one in West Wickham that does DIY but no indoor but full size arena, but no lights!! and one in West Wratting that does have an indoor but only full livery. The area you are looking in is very scarce of yards

Tell us about it - for such a horsey area there isn't much choice! The school at West Wratting is rather small as I've seen it and we dont want full livery. I'd probably settle for an outdoor and good hacking. Thoroughly fed up with our yard and nothing being done by the owner and the yard politics!!!

lochpearl, i dont suppose you know of any good diy livery yards within a 15 minute drive from thurlow, as Ive just moved to the area and currently have my horse at a yard near by but Im not happy there. Could you possibly point me in the right direction?!?

there used to be a wee place with an indoor on the Hundon road out of Kedington? (I grew up there a long time ago!)

I think that the DIY at Clifden Brown's farm in Little Bradley has an Indoor School that is not too far from Thurlow. Good luck finding somewhere around here with an indoor that is nice. I keep my horse in Westley Waterless and its the nicest place I found round Newmarket with actual proper turnout for a horse let alone a decent school!
