Hi all, we are interested in moving to Mortimer and have found a house we like, which would mean moving my horse to a livery yard in the area (from where we currently are in Thatcham). I know there are a few yards around but not much about them. We'd need DIY with as much turnout as possible, stable not necessary (though would be good to have some kind of shelter if we needed it), and it would be nice to have some kind of schooling area but we are flexible. I have a 9 year old gelding and we mainly hack (with a few local shows in the summer), and we're both pretty easy going! I have contacted Wheats Farm to have a look around, any other suggestions? Many thanks!:)

I've recently moved to the area too. There is another livery yard near to Wheats called Simms Farm. I've never been there but I know it's DIY.

Also, you could contact GingersMum on here. She has a livery yard not too far from Mortimer and may have spaces.
