Hi everyone, I'm new here and looking for some advice.

I currently live in France but am returning to the UK in May and will be living in Weybridge, Surrey.

I will be bringing my youngster back over from France in June and am looking for DIY livery for him. I also own a mare who is currently in foal and will be staying in France until the foal is weaned, but then will also be shipped over.

I have been to look at Abrook Farm which I thought was a really nice yard, but I can't afford it, particularly once I am paying for 2 and I wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere a bit more basic where I could just get grass livery or rent 1 box to share between the 2 horses?

I just don't know where to start looking, I used to live in this area when I was at school, but that was a long time ago and a lot of the yards I remember seem to have closed down :(

There are a couple of DIY yards (private) opposite silvermere - have a freind at one - can get you a number if you like? Also have you tried Woodruffe in Byfleet? They have a few DIY boxes (most taken up by equisharing) but they also have a school etc.

Is Cobham too far for you? Know a few where you could do DIY/grass that way - let me know if you want numbers!

Try Woodstock South - its in Claygate about 1 mile from Arbrook. About 10 mins drive from Weybridge. Year long turnout; 24 hours from May to October. Mares and Geldings seperately. No grass only livery, but people have rented one box between 2 in the past. 2 surfaced schools; one jumping one dressage. Jumping school is floodlit in winter. Horse walker, wash stall solarium. Small amount of roadwork to access off road hacking. Great yard with freindly people and no politics! PM me if you want details / contact numbers etc

Nearby is also Chessington Equestrian Centre, Manor Farm and Slough Farm (which is in Claygate not slough!) Barwell is in Chessignton, also nearby.
 
Try Kings Ranch in Ottershaw which is an eay journey from Weybridge. Tel Judith King 07774 606665. They do grass, working, part livery etc......Judith is lovely :-)
