I work in Harefield and will soon be moving to Great Kingshill (between High Wycombe and Great Missenden). Can anyone suggest a DIY livery yard somewhere between the two locations (preferably nearer Great Kingshill)? AMersham would be a great spot but Amersham Livery has no places and Shardeloes is too expensive for me!

So many DIY yards around that area have been or are being lost to development :(

I was at Shardeloes but moved to a DIY yard near Beaconsfield as I wanted to spend less money on livery (Albeit DIY which as you say is expensive at Shardeloes) so I could have more available for lessons, schooling and competing. It's actually more convenient for me during the week as I arrive there a minimum of half an hour earlier than when I was at Shardeloes.

The yard I'm at now does have spaces, is way cheaper than Shardeloes, but I guess not the area you want.

Happy to look at Beaconsfield as I'll be on the way back from work - may I ask what the name of the yard is, please?

I have a 21 year old 17.2hh warmblood gelding.

It's Jennings Farm and it's easy to get to from the Beaconsfield Junction of the M40 (Beaconsfield Services) They have loads of grazing, floodlit ménage and lunging area. Hacking's okay if you don't mind quiet lanes to get to bridleways. It's also hacking distance to Snowball Farm and Hammer and Harp (Rob Waine Dressage). It's very much a DIY yard but they do offer services.
