I am looking for a diy livery yard in the Market Rasen (Lincolnshire) area - must have good hacking and a decent school.

Faldingworth looks fab, but a few people have told me it's run by a raving nutter, so I don't know what to think!

Suggestions please?

Don't know about any raving loonies at Faldingworth, seems pretty damn good to me....been many, many times. Great facilities etc etc etc....

Go and check it out for yourself than listen to rumours.... :)

I have never heard anything other than rave reviews and it is certainly a great set up...I would love to have facilites like that...but at home!

It's worth goin just for the toilets...amazing!

Well seeing as my farmhouse is gutted at the mo (full renovation but feels more like a demolition job!) the toilets do indeed sound very appealing...the joys of static caravan living is wearing abit thin now :( Sorry to hijack thread but what are there showjumping sundays like they look really friendly. We have a haffie who has hell of a jump but is mega green in new surroundings and my son who rides him has never competed so was looking at somewhere totally chillaxed (as the kids say) to go and try...just to have abit of fun and get out of our normal routine of hacking and schooling.

I was told they were once bombproof.com & when I googled it I was horrified!!

The owner has different names depending on who she's dealing with and they always seem to have lots of empty boxes - Also they own the bomb disposal/explosions site which is part of the farm and the neighbours are very anti it due to the noise etc. It's a big move moving several horses so I need to be sure I will be happy and more so the horses will!

Hill House has closed down as a livery yard, they only open a few days a week for competitions.
