DIY Mounting block ideas

I got these fold away steps from Amazon (Vicris) very useful and sturdy and having recently gone from lorry to trailer I needed something portable to take with me away

If you want something more permanent at yard then I prefer brick or breeze blocks built up

Loving all of these...want something for my house as I sometimes hack over to home (less than a mile from field lol)...but can't get back on!!
At the field I've got a super heavy duty 3 step plastic mounting block I got from Charlies stores...was about £90 a few years ago though.
Identical to this one...though mine is blue

We have an upside down dustbin with a crate to step up.

I had some little fold out steps - unfortunetley i crushed them with the car - reversed over them and ripped off the undercover of the car too!! whoops.
However i did find them a bitrisky as my horses sometimes move off whilst i am getting on and always worried about them getting their legs through it. Ordering a proper plastic round one off ebay. Only abour=t £30 and should last a long time and be safe!
