Hi,
I'm starting to plan and try and get my bearings ahead of moving. Would like to find a home for my horse.... Although in no rush to move her, would rather wait for the right place and commute.
I'm spoilt where I am currently - have fantastic facilities on a DIY yard which has adhoc help to hand. There's an indoor and outdoor school, a few cross country jumps and miles of off road hacking.
Bradgate Park area looked nice and probably NW Leicestershire is more convenient but I'm open to all areas of Leicester - for the right facilities. I have a young horse so need a school to continue her education.
Could anyone give me names and/numbers of places to try so I can start looking round and get my names on some waiting lists.
Thank you so much.

Good Luck! I have found it terribly hard to get good livery. I moved up from Bedfordshire in March, down there I was on a fantastic DIY yard with services if needed, not been able to find anything like that here - it has been very disappointing in that respect. it is very horsey but mostly small private yards and they are just too quiet.

I think I am in completely the wrong area for you, but I am on a nice yard in Tilton on the Hill. Good hacking, great turnout but is a funny sort of assisted/part livery Mon-Fri with DIY at weekends. Yard owner is very nice but it is very inflexible. Outdoor school with lights and some basic show jumps. 24/7 grazing in summer and out al day in winter regardless of weather I am told.

I'm not unhappy there exactly but would really prefer DIY but there is nothing doing! I have lost count of how much driving around we have down and looking for anything that might be a yard on Google Maps! I did view somewhere small that was very nice but no lights in the school so not suitable so can give details for that too - that was nearer Melton though so still wrong area I guess.

I found Welland Valley the best place for ads

I've found exactly the same. I don't really want part livery in the week but near me it's the 5 day a week part livery thing. I'm I'd like DIY but there aren't many places!!! I'd love a small private livery yard with nice people and decent facilities. I was on such a yard but the yard owners sold up and we've moved away anyway.

There's just massive yards with part livery!!!

East Leicestershire is much better (I live west!!)
