Yes I would love to put all 23 of my horses on full livery for 2 weeks a year....but I would still want this livery to be on my own farm! In other words, I just want someone knowledgeable around to be able to leave my horses whilst I have a holiday once in a while.

Id prefer a livery where the pony was put out for you in the morning and then mucked out. the rest i like doing myself.

But i'd like the option of short term full livery when i go away on holiday or on business trips.
Unfortunately as im on my own yard i have to rope in friends to do my horses and finding one who has the time to look after 5 is hard. Professional grooms cost too much when youve got 5 and are away for 2 or more weeks. So far ive come to an agree ment with one of my friends, she keeps her horse on my yard for free (inc use of all facilities not that there are many but better then some livery yards) in exchange she does my horses when im away.

I enjoy doing my horse myself and trade favours with a friend to get a bit of a break. I would like the option of paying to get things done occassionally, like when I have to travel for work, but we are totally DIY.
The first winter I did DIY was tough but now I find I like it.

I didn't vote because I wouldn't actually want full livery all the time. I love going up to do my daughter's pony when she's at school

BUT sometimes it would be nice to have a day off (or rather early morning).

So I think my answer would be that I am happy on DIY but maybe once a week I would have him done for me for the day.

I am on DIY with my two girlies, i have found it very hard work with family commitements, work etc, so if I had the money, I would go part livery, although saying that, where I am we all muck in together and it is a fantasic routine we have going.

If I had the full money, defo would go full livery and just speand the time pampering my ponios.

I moved onto part-livery two years ago, and don't miss the early mornings at all!
I could go full livery, but enjoy doing the jobs, although it's lovely if YO has done my bed for me occasionally.
We can go full livery for an extra fiver a day, which means I don't need to worry about the horse if I'm busy at work, or on my hols.

I put yes, and although I could afford full now, I like having the extra £30 or so a week to play with. If I could very very comfortably afford him on full I would (and have done in the past). I went back to DIY because I did miss mucking out lol! Having said that I am a lot busier now.

i voted no, i would rather spend the money on training/lessons/new clothes(me and horse)/competitons e.t.c.. i much prefer looking after my boy myself, i can only just bear to let him go off on 'holiday' livery when i go away and thats only because they are the only people i trust to look after him.. sad isn't it.!!!

my pony is on full livery and i hate it, id much rather do everything myself, i live 2mins away from the yard so it would suit me fine but its a full livery yard!

my pony is pushy and strong and i hate hearing people complaining about him being bolshy!!
