Hope this is okay to ask, but does anyone know of a decent diy livery yard in the St. Leonards on Sea/Hastings area? Being from America originally and just back into horses, haven't been able to find much in the area.
If anyone knows of anything would you mind sharing the info?
Thanks,
Suzi

I'm the other end of Hastings and don't livery but I know a few who do. Pine Tree Farm in Bexhill have a good reputation and I know someone who is there and loves it. Also Pebsham riding school have liveries and they have a brand new outdoor school that is lovely. If you wanted to go more Hastings way there are a few lovely yards in Pett, just outside of Hastings, Lower New Barn Farm is under new ownership and is hopefully going to have loads of shows and great new facilities, or Gatehurst Farm has a nice school.

Lots to choose from! PM if you want more details

Try Park Farm in crowhurst they are stones throw from the Ridge West or Hazel Bank Stables in Ivyhouse Lane. The local hacking and roads are bloody horrendous though throughout Hastings and StLeonards, I moved mine from Hastings 2 years ago as it was like risking your life every hack! Good luck

Hey, thanks anyway! But I have to ask about your dog?
Is it by any chance half scottish deerhound/half saluki? Because if it is I have it's twin brother. Does yours smile? Am saluki crazy (bred them for 30 years in the States) but only do rescue now. Our Bently was supposed to be a saluki rescue and go on to the rescue center. But somehow 3 years later he is still here! Mostly because he looks like a greyhound on steroids, and I couldn't convince rescue he was saluki enough!
