Where about are you in north cotswold please??

It seems it really does vary alot .
I pay £65 per month per horse for that i get -
-stable (one is a little smaller than i would like)
-summer turn out,
-winter paddocks (not grass but bigger that their stables),
-locked tack room/storage
-rubber/sand school with two lights
-electric, water.
-hacking mostly on road
we provide our own electric tape and posts to section off fields and keep them away from the barbed wire fences. But we currently have no grass so I am renting another field aswell for £100 a month for all 3.

The yard I am about to move to I will be paying £15 per week each for my two. I have a stable for the pony which will be used as a storage area (as no tack/feed room) use of a 20x40 outdoor school which unfortunatly has no lights. 24h grazing all year round with the option of having individual turnout. Most importantly it is a very small yard but everyone is very very friendly and supportive towards each other and the YO is superb.

On my last yard (uni) I used to pay £24 per week for the use of an 60x80 indoor and outdoor school (limited times) horse walker, 2 full sets of jumps, off road hacking, shared tack room with individual tack lockers, shared feed and hay barns. Turnout 6 days per week, up to 7 hours a day and 24/7 in summer months shared with around 4 other geldings. All liveries were on a daily job/poo picking rota with a £10 fine if not followed.

what happens if someone leaves to their share of the jump? Do they get some money back?

£30 for stable, turnout and use of school (20X60 not the best surface). Each livery has bought part of a jump and share, have to pay £1 for the lights but it is floodlit. Its not the cheapest in the area though.

£35 pw for stables that flood, are rotten and have rats... No hay/bedding/feed/extras included. Unmaintained paddocks (however individual/paired grazing strips) with wobbly post and rail fencing and electric tops that havent worked in the 2 years I have been here. Auto troughs that spray upward and everywhere when frosty, 2 schools which everyone whinges about and no one wants to use as they are so deep/lining coming up/ lights that rarely work. Full set of SJs that you have to contribute to on arrival (fair enough), and a walker that tbf I cannot fault. Hacking is pretty poor but I dont do much of that. No 24hr turn out available, in at night or day according to season. Company is hit and miss and has been problematic in the past but it is far too conveniently close to my house for me to think about moving/ consider moaning to YO or anyone else. Reading that back it sounds like an over priced *****hole but I do like the freedom to come and go and plus you just get on with things dont you ;)

A lot!

Summer is £128pcm including lorry parking. This includes use of a XC course, field, stable. Hay, bedding, menage use etc are all extra (!)

Winter is £220 including unlimited straw and hay and school usage. Floodlights are extra, and haylage is an extra £2 a week. If you don't use straw, you have £12 a month knocked off your bill, and pay for the shavings (brought off YO)

Excellent hacking, but pay £1 a week for it.

There are very few yards in the area, and this is probably the best DIY yard, hence the ££. The fields are old turf and well maintained, but it is all electric fencing, and we do our own poo picking etc. Aloud out 24/7 in summer, and not in winter!

My goodness some of you seem to get a lot more for your money than I do and my yard is priced in line with all others in the area!

£30 p/w for assisted DIY i.e. horses fed/rugged and turned out for you in the winter. This includes price of stable, year round turn out and use of 60x20 arena with a few SJ's and a small XC paddock and good hacking. No hay/straw etc included.

at the moment on 1.5 acre field on my friends small yard, use of sand school and if needed a stable, for poo picking her fields once a week. but will be going back on my other friends land 300m down the road for £50 pcm which includes 7.5 acres of turnout with her 2 horses and somewhere to keep my stuff, am still able to use sand school from first place and stable is needed free of charge!!
