There seems to be a HUGE variation in quality around us unfortunaly (I live very close to bridgford!) and very few good DIY yards....

There is Hollygate in Cotgrave which is a nice enough but very busy and full of kids... the school would be lovely but isnt maintained... hmmm, I will have a think but most yards round us are quite ££ for DIY

I'm at Newton Yard, which I think is great. Large school, which is well maintained, a cross country school, and off road hacking for miles.

Newton may be OK. Not too far to drive.

There are a couple willoughby way, ask the chiro lady she is at one of them. Think they have an OK school.

Do you want all year unrestricted turnout?

i'm on the Nottingham Uni committee and we ride at Trent Valley-it's go a really big indoor school and a couple of outdoor schools, quite a lot of land but there are LOADS of horses there and rather a lot of kids, ponies and stuff around everywhere! it's also a riding school and hires the big indoor out for dog shows and stuff but they have unaff shows and some xc jumps round the edge of nearby fields

I'm at Barton EC, Barton-in-Fabis, however winter DIY is £39.50 a week to include hay and straw (unfortunately the hay is pretty crap).

Has indoor and outdoor school. Nice friendly yard, just the owner's let it go somewhat.
