DIY Yards and feeding others horses

There are only my 2 horse's and another two horses (owned by the same person) on my 'block' around the back of the yard. The other person is normally down before me and his are already out in the field and fed. My two never kick up a fuss when the guy arrives to do his 2, they know he dosen't feed them and one of mine dosen't even like him so they just ignore him and his horses and wait for me x

My yard used to be a diy yard and we fed our own. Now my friend (who 'manages' it) and I have managed to fill it and it is no longer advertised as livery. We've also merged our horses together, so I don't have 'my field' but we've put the girls and boys seperate, so we do the whole yard. If I get there first and have everything done (8 horses) before my friend gets there then I text her not to worry and vice versa, works well, and the horses love it!

I have a mix of my own horse, DIY's and a couple of parts. split on 2 yards. Ours are all out in summer and in winter as part of the DIY livery deal i I put in feeds and turn out - all the horses so my liveries only come up once a day at night to muck out, feed and ride. However I do insist that first up on either yard puts in all the feeds for that yard as I don't want the remainig horses standing and kicking the doors. This is the same at weekends - as I have had plenty of experience of owners who can't be bothered to get up and feed/ turnout so their horses stand in unfed. This way I know all the horses are fed and turned out - or for the more portly versions - are at least thrown a small amount of hay/haylage and then turned out. The owners can then come up exactly when they want. If the owner doesn't want them turned out then I wil put itn a net but I will not leave them to just stand in without food until the owner gets up
