Pictures taken today. She's not been ridden for five weeks, since we hit the road (she's fine!): I'd only ridden her for two days after four weeks off due to teeth! I haven't lunged her, partially because she is a loon, but also because I don't want to get on a fit neddy lol

. I've long reined her just to get her used to having a saddle and bridle on again!

First picture is from 25/04/09, second one is from 06/05/09

yay, dizzy one has a bottom!

she is looking really well MrsM and looks like she wants to be in charge with regards to the long reining!

Um, where do I start!

Bought her as a four year old (Dutch Warmblood, 16.3hh). Paid lots of pennies as wanted to BSJA and maybe BE (she has the breeding). Got her on the 20th December. On 1st Jan this year she came in lame. Short story: a week at Rossdales at Newmarket. She has bony irregularities on her pelvis, which caused secondary damage to her rear secondary ligaments. She should be lame, but isn't (vet says Dizz hasn't read the text books!).

She's a stess head and loses weight easily. The skinnines was despite being on Blue Chip Pro, Bailey's Outshine and Alpha A Oil (plus other stuff) and having full access to as much hay as she wanted. She needed grass! The yard we had didn't have enough to keep two horses never mind our six, so we moved three times to find the right place

she looks miles better! even than in the pic of her being ridden (in my personal opiinion she just looks healthier now!)

doesnt mean she is not bonkers, but hey thats why we love her!

What a nightmare, she's looking so well now, you should be very proud of your efforts! In some ways maybe the time off (although not intentional) may have done her some good as well. Looking forward to seeing her progress in the future.

Yes, I think the time off has done her good. Her manners quickly become shocking, so she's been handled most days and had a bath and been generally cuddled etc. We've had a couple of discussions

, which was interesting with a bobbered arm that wasn't in plaster

I think that her fitness hasn't suffered too badly due to staying active in the field. The Newmarket vet has finally agreed that she can have pins in her shoes, so hopefully we won't be going down again

yaayyyyy!! she's looking sooooooooo much better, well done MrsM. Hows the funky elbow doing? Hope she's been nice and not jolted it again.

Bet you can't wait to get back on, although maybe also worried about her nutjob tendencies! But that's what makes her The Dizz

Wow MrsM she looks wonderful!!!

What a lot of good work you've put into her!! Bet you can't wait to get back on board and get the fitness up again!
