MrsMozartletoe
Just passing through...
Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who made suggestions and tried to help, means a lot
So, this morning we went armed!
Changed the crank for a loose cavesson, and although the crank was loose, once the cavesson was on she went better
Then... we changed the Myler. I had found the straight bar D-ringed Happy Mouth that she came with, so tried that...
...she was like a different horse!!! So, so, so good . Head practically stopped 'arguing', she lightened off the hand, went forward better off the leg

*MrsM bounces bouncingly round the room, spilling mugs of hot choccy with carefree abandon*
I rode, then D1 rode so's I could watch from the ground . Good for her as well . For the first time we got good canters round the school and I could admire Dizz's mane as it flowed, rather than the tatters of bits of mane that used to be flapping about all over the place
Oh I sooooooo happy bunny me
(I bet the system won't let me post this there are so many smilies in it lol).
Still think the saddle needs looking at, so that's next Tuesday. Physio will be out next week as well
Going to get one of the webbing bitless bridles, just to try it and see what Dizz thinks. I looked at the Myler - there are (I think copper) sections in the Myler that sit on the corners of Dizzy's mouth, and that's where she rubbed most, so maybe an allergy?
Will ride again on Thursday and we have everything so tightly crossed that it wasn't a flash in the pan
