I'm stressing (so what's flipping well new!).

Dizz went to roll yesterday. Both hind legs were trembling to the point of shaking as she tried to get down

.

I've not seen a horse do that before, not to that extent. I'm now panicing that there is something going on.

She also has two raised areas in the lumbar region, either side of her spine. They're about quarter to half a centremetre 'high' and cover about the area of a hand palm and a half. No reaction to being pressed. No heat. Not particularly squidgy.

Vet is coming on Saturday.

Oh MrsM - I've not heard of that but lots of <HUGS> and <VIBES> for you and the Dizzy one - you just don't seem to have any luck, but I am sure its nothing...

Ooo Mrs M DONT panic! Josie and I have just been through this!!

What is her tail like? Is it floppy?

We think Josie got stuck rolling in her rug the other day, and her fillet string went right up and over if get what I mean?

Resulting in very sore and shaky back end, bruised nerves as she couldn't control her tail.

A week on, she's fine.

Everything crossed for you and Dizzy x

Sorry to hear you're worried. Belle's legs shake as she wees, don't think she can take the weight on her toes anymore as she's an old codger now! Haven't had the vet out but I'm gonna get them out to give her a check-up as we go into winter so will probs ask them about it then

Hope you get an answer soon

Thank you all.

She's walking fine, or as fine as she can with one kicked front leg.

She's on Bute and antib.s due to the kick.

She's a big Dutch Warmblood with big shoulders and hardly any back end, due to us not both being fit and well at the same time!

She has bony irregularities on her pelvis. Cannot be treated. Accoding to Sue Dyson at the AHT, some horses with this are fine, and some are not - there isn't a set prognosis.

Her tail is normal

. She's only just had a rug put on and it has the cross-over straps rather than a fillet string. But thank you for the thought
