DJD

My 4yr old New Forest pony has been diognosed with DJD after an injury to his fetlock before i had him he also has bone fragments, my vet referred to Newmarket who said they would not operate because it is incurable, he needs to retire and have steroid injections i have put him on newmarket supplement, has any one else experienced this in such a young pony.

You need to get hold of CBFan, she has been through it with hers but it ended up going back to the breeder but she knows allsorts about it, always helps me!

My filly has got Physitis and I am trying to get her ok at the moment with restricted grazing and vits and mins! Sorry to hear your news x
