I am currently in the living room on my own, the door into the dining room/kitchen is open ( where Lola's bed is) and she is ignoring me! I have called, clicked you name it! I have popped my head round the door a few times to check she's actually there! About 10 minutes ago a car pulled up next doors drive and Lola came running in and poked her nose under the blind to see who it was! Upon realising it was noone for her she returned to her bed and just gave me a quick glance as if to say 'oh, your still there then!' I'm glad we have got over the seperation anxiety but this takes the biscuit!! She usually lies on the floor infront of me at least! All I can put it down to is having to spend 2 days and a night at Grandma's house and that now, she is sulking!! :(

lol yep you are in the dog house!!
mine aren't sulking but driving me up the wall, I'm sure the shiba is going senile as he has had me up and down all evening letting him in and out, and of course if he goes out the other 2 have to as well! i swear he's forgetting that he's been out 5 mins after he's been:rolleyes:

I think mine sulks! I took her to try out flyball 2 weeks ago and, ok she's a slightly anxious dog in new situations but she started well and she's usually ball-obsessed. However, after playing the game initially she decided the 'dead retrieve' was not for her and that was it, she switched off! She couldn't have cared less about the tennis balls (this dog actively seeks out and finds tennis balls on walks) but no she just sat down and looked at me as if she was saying "can we go now, I've had enough!".

She also refuses to come out of the house every morning and won't get in the car. This is on week days when she spends the day at my parent's house whilst I am at work. She has people with her all day there and her two doggie pals and, all in all has a good time but, will she get off her bed and get on the car with me? Nope! Once I finally get her out she stands refusing to get in the car and honestly, the look she gives me (sad face, tail hanging) you'd think I beat her every day!!!

I think she has sulky down to a tee! :)

One of my spaniels doesn't sulk as such, but you can see her swearing under her breath sometimes when I ask her to do something she doesn't want to :p you can see the hatred in her eyes, incredible :D

Both ours sulk if they are told off, will lie in their beds facing away from us, and have to be won over with a treat. Bea the oldest one is particularly sulky, not that she gets told off much these days

I work for an airline as cabin crew, and our two sulk at the first sight of a suitcase or high heals! I get totally ignored when I go out to work!

Yes!!!
One of my dogs Sophie loves going on holidays to my brothers. When she gets back she gives us kisses for about 5 minutes solidly. Then the penny drops and she remembers she was abandoned up until that point, so she walks off and lies down facing away from us. She then ignores us for a good 48 hours!

Maizie isn't 'sulky' but she always has to have the last word(/bark in this case.) If you shout at her to be quiet or to stop doing something, she will bark back at you once, you then shout back at her, she barks at you once again. This goes on and on and on, eventually her barks become quiet and gruffed as shes hoping you wont hear her get the last word in :D Not sulky again but Maizie is terrible for having lie ins. She will NOT get out of bed before 9am. I've had to turf her out at 12am a good few times

Yep my terrier is awful, when I'm out the house (even when people are in) he barks at every noise untill I'm home. When I get home he promptly ignores me for 2 odd hours... Brat.

Not half I do! My little terrier's a gorgeous dog, lovely temperament and I think it's fair to say she has a lovely life with me - thoroughly loved, well fed and lots of long, muddy walks. However, she is completely obsessed with my mate Jonny. Whenever he comes for the weekend she goes into a full-on 2-day sulk when he leaves. She won't come to bed with me and just sits on the sofa he sits on looking all mournful. All the usual treats do nothing - she just mopes around looking bereft and resentful. Last time she did it I only managed to bring her round by cooking her a steak  little s**-bag!

My schnauzer x can be very sulky. If we dare to tell her off, off she goes to sulk upstairs, on a bed of course! She also gets quite snooty/sulky if she sees our jrt x being allowed to do something that she doesn't think she should be allowed to do, such as sitting on the sofa.

Yep! My dog does not like getting up in the morning now as it is now dark when the alarm goes off!
She comes out in the garden while I feed the chooks then once in sits by the bedroom door wanting to go back to bed!!

My labrador sulks whenever anyone leaves the house. My Grandpa visits every Tuesday and she adores him, when it's time for him to leave as soon as he puts his coat on she slinks back to her rug and won't even look at him!

Lol I know this face, the only reason I ask my parents dogs for a 'kiss' is to see his face - brilliant :D

Lola's a lurcher. A very sensitive diva of a lurcher!

Ah, I'd missed that bit! In that case you're sentenced to a life of sulking, low pain threshold and all-round diva behaviour.

By cooking her a steak? :O don't tell Lola she'll be moving in!!

You wouldn't need to cook her a steak; she'd just nick yours off the counter ;).

My little dumpling stays in bed (in my bed, under the duvet ) until 11am without fail all-year round, then saunters downstairs, has a good stretch and eyes me expectantly. Then it's not unusual for her to have a wee, have her breakfast and then go back to bed. When she's ready, of course, I'm expected to take her for a nice long walk as she's built up quite a supply of energy by lunchtime

Sulking - check!
Low pain threshold - double check!! (Talking full on howling and running over for cuddles when she's banged herself running round like a loon!)
All round diva behaviour - you want to see her face if someone is sat in 'her seat' or if you have the cheek to ask her to move!!

You must have had lurchers before!! :)

Mine sulks.

We have various dog beds dotted about, but woe betide if someone goes in his. It's pitiful.

He also sulks if he's been in the bath- he'll run off with his tail between his legs, then throw himself down with a sigh.
