Do any of you use heat pads or bottles for your oldies?

Just wondering really as just started popping a snuggle safe in my 14yr olds bed at night as she gets a bit chilly with the heating off. She normally sleeps under our duvet but won't come on the bed if either me or OH is away...... Stupid dog xx

In our old house Bear had an electric blanket :D We had no central heating and it was an ancient old manor house so was v cold and drafty. When I lived there she would share my bed then when I moved out my parents gave the bed to her and kept putting the blanket on for her. Spoiled? Never :p

I bought my old girl a small oil filled radiator. Its only 1kw and I have economy 7 electric. Keeps the dog room (utility) lovely and cosy and I have seen a huge improvment in her.

I just bought Chlo a Self Heating Pet Pad from Sleepy Paws. Its made using something nasa created and it uses their body heat to self heat and keep them warm. Its really good! But it crinkles quite a bit so chloe is unsure - but I love it ;) and i'm sure she'll get used to it! xx

What about buying a comfy fleece coat e.g Hotterdog, for her at night? One of my smooth lurchers wears her fleece througout the winter months, just keeps the edge off cold and she feels warm in the morning:)
