My dog keeps staring blankly into the same corner in my living room and i have to shout on him really loudly to get him to snap out of it. Im sure i heard babies do this in corners, could dogs be the same:s

hey so tell me how old is your dog??? maybe the marbles have flown and gone to neverland :D:D

sorry my dog has lost his marbles thats why im asking.

But to answer your question i am pretty sure they do see ghosts they are very sensitive but i think horses are also.

I have an ageing JRT who behaves like this - frankly, the poor old eejit is away with the fairys.

However, many, many years ago when I was young and foolish I was part of a seance with a large group of equally silly twenty somethings - just as things got interesting and information was 'coming through' my 2 labs started howling like effing banshees and frightened the bejaysus out of the lot of us - have never had a seance since:o!

Back in the very early seventies, when I was in my early teens, I had a lab x. She loved my uncle who visited us very regulary, having recently separated from his wife. Christmas 1971, uncle was taken ill and died within a matter of days. My dog, who loved her evening walks, refused to leave the house without Mum and I DRAGGING her on the end of her lead. In the house, she would hide herself away and I remember thinking something was wrong with her. Then, on the day of my uncle's funeral, once it was all over, she returned to her completely normal self! It was so weird, but it was definitely my uncle's death that caused her strange behaviour! Can't say it was a ghost, but it was seriously spooky!

Oh gosh dont start with this, Sue did it when scranny came to stay at the weekend and today I noticed one of mine did the same thing in the same place!

Jimmy Jack Russell shot out of the kitchen the other day, tail between his legs growling. He usually shoots into the kitchen growling as that's where the back door is and we have shared access. I said to the OH I think there's a ghost in the kitchen lol, it wasn't normal behaviour for Jimbob

Yes, I think that some dogs, can.

In my youth my mother had a canary, which whilst having his cage, for night time use, he had the freedom of the sitting room, during the day. He had a favourite edge of a curtain cover, where he used to perch and sing.

He eventually fell off his perch, literally, and mother's dog, for months after that, used to sit and look at the curtain top, wagging her tail. Was she in the land of the fairies? God knows, and it was a bit odd, but it did happen on a regular basis!

Alec.

oh WHY did you have to say that?!! I was on my own last night and my horse kept spooking and starring fixedly into a corner of the yard - he is on the courtyard so completely enclosed and so nothing lurking behind a fence.

Not looking forward to going back tonight now..!
