My YO was unhappy that I put my horse out this morning because it was drizzling and a bit windy (the field is well drained, the horse was rugged and isnt silly, it was clearing up and I had checked the forecast) - its lovely sushine now, so I'm glad I did put him out!!!
Fair enough if the weather is really bad, or the fields are too wet, but it really wasnt that bad today!!
Only a few weeks ago, the YO didnt want the horses left out long because it was to hot/too many flies.....
Do you think horses get intolerant to the weather if they are only allowed out in good weather? Can this cause problems with riding in bad weather if he learns that rain = stay inside?
